A magazine recently wrote how Sammir got into a sozzling match with Minissha Lamba at a party. He laughed. “It was a function for the film called Bong Connection. Raima Sen had invited both me and Minissha. We just had a harmless drink, that’s all.
I’m not much of a drinker and the last one to create a scene in public. In fact I’m very conscious of my public image because I’ve a large clan of Dattanis to be answerable to.”
He laughs away the rumours about his link -ups. “I do have a a couple of very special female friends. But they aren’t from the film industry. And I don’t see myself getting hooked up with an actress at all,” says Sammir who has just signed on the dotted line for a prestigious film with Vikram Bhatt.
“It’s another very challenging role after my Mukhbiir. I’m here to work, not to romance my co-stars or to drink myself silly.”
