So, was it strange to see B-town actress Minissha Lamba making an episodic appearance on Star One’s ‘Chhoona Hai Aasmaan’?

And just in case, we see a role reversal and the gossip mongers go on the mill saying that Manissha is scouting assignments in the saas bahu or the reality saga, Manishha goes on record and says, “ I’m promoting my film, ‘Shaurya’. My character on the show is same as it is in my movie ‘Shaurya’. My character’s name is Kaavya Shastri who is a journalist. I will try solving a murder mystery. It is an episodic appearance.

This program is similar to ‘Shaurya’. The show celebrates all those unsung heroes who lay down their lives for our country. I believe that the promotion strategy is going to help both the show and movie”, adds the actress.

She’s not your regular saas bahu serial fan. But enjoys the comedy shows that are on air. And she also agrees that television is a big industry and something that we cannot ignore in the present day scenario. “To me, the small screen has a far greater reach than the big screen. People relate to the TV characters.”

For an actress who is very choosy in her roles, she is looking forward to her latest release, ‘Shaurya’. And when questioned on if she would consider doing TV roles, she shrugged her dainty shoulders and danced around the question like a professional ballet dancer.
