Well, it looks like Katrina is losing her cat appeal. As per the latest grapevine, her role in Bollywood’s latest heartthrob star kid Ranbir Kapoor’s much awaited flick ‘`Bachna Ae Haseeno` has been cut considerably.

The film that was to star the four Bollywood bombshells, Bipasha, Deepika , Minissha and Katrina. Not that Kat’s role has been cut, the other the three sizzling ladies will hog the silver screen.

Alright, we don’t want to question Bips stay, the lady is undoubtedly the hottest actress Bollywood would ever see. Deepika… hmmm .. to much of love involved there. But what’s surprising is that even starlet Manisha Lamba has scored over Katrina.

But wait, it’s not because of any cat fight that Kat’s role got shelved. Apparently, the film was getting way to long and the director just could not have found space to fit in this sultry beauty.

Speaking to reporters, director Siddharth Anand said, `If we had kept Katrina`s portion `Bachna Ae Haseeno` would`ve been one of the longest films in the history of Hindi cinema - much beyond three hours.`

However, cutting her role out was not the toughest choice for the director but what came after it. Yes, breaking the news to Katrina was by far the toughest situation the director was faced with.

`Nobody had the heart to break the news to her. When she heard she was out, Katrina was really upset. What to do? In fact, Katrina`s track was one of our favourites, but she saw our point of view when she saw the film,` said Anand

Giving some explanation for editing out her role, Anand asserted, “The only reason we dropped the Katrina track was because it hadn`t been shot. Otherwise, she`s the biggest star we`ve in our film. Katrina has had only one flop in her entire career. Dropping her track had upset all of us.”

Biggest star ahh … ok, moving on, the director talks of the fabulous relationship he and Ranbir share. “Ranbir and I are like brothers. I know him from the time he was born. I`m plseantly surprised by Ranbir`s expertise in front of the camera. In my film, he`ll be completely different from the way he was in `Saawariya`. Ranbir is full ready on the sets. He has superb energy and is a great dancer.”
