Apparently, when Imraan had seen Minissha Lamba’s debut movie YAHAAN he was so impressed with her that he recommended that she play the lead role in his debut JAANE TU…YA JAANE NA. But for some reasons Minissha couldn’t be a part of the blockbuster movie JAANE TU…YA JAANE NA and in due course Genelia got signed.

Though Imraan’s wish to star alongside Minissha could not materialize during JAANE TU, but he is quite happy to have fulfilled his desire to share the screen space with her in KIDNAP.
