Fact is, the actress has just got her wisdom tooth removed and not just one, but two at one go! “There were two of them growing together so I got them removed.

Minissha Lamba, who caught everyone’s eyes with her innocent smile in debut film “Yahaan” two years ago, says she is game for an item number, provided the “script demands it”.

The svelte 22-year-old, currently very busy shooting three films “Anamika”, “Kidnap” and “Shourya”, said: “Definitely I would love to do an item number for my film if the script demands it.”

“Our industry is song-and-dance-based and these item numbers have purely an entertainment value. I see no wrong if someone chooses to do an item number and I will also do it if required,” said the actress, who has so far acted in roles that have not demanded wearing skimpy clothes. I have just returned after shooting for the film Anamika in Rajasthan. It is already a beautiful state and the place we went to is simply majestic. I was lucky that my director Ananth Mahadevan had decided to shoot in one of the most beautiful places possible that was Bikaner.

After the success of ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd’, Minissha Lamba heads straight into her latest flick ‘Anamika’ which is an adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s classic English novel Rebecca.

Q: How much do you relate to you character Jia Rao?
A: Without losing audience empathy, it was a fine line and also this film is adapted from a literally classic. We are doing an adaptation of a book.
