Well, it looks like Katrina is losing her cat appeal. As per the latest grapevine, her role in Bollywood’s latest heartthrob star kid Ranbir Kapoor’s much awaited flick ‘`Bachna Ae Haseeno` has been cut considerably.

The film that was to star the four Bollywood bombshells, Bipasha, Deepika , Minissha and Katrina. Not that Kat’s role has been cut, the other the three sizzling ladies will hog the silver screen.

Alright, we don’t want to question Bips stay, the lady is undoubtedly the hottest actress Bollywood would ever see. Deepika… hmmm .. to much of love involved there. Minissha Lamba on Anamika

Born and brought up in Delhi, Minissha Lamba did her major in English from the Delhi University with honours in ’04. While doing this, she took up part time modelling. It was for a Cadbury ad audition, when she was spotted by Soojit Sircar, who gave her the so called big break into the world of cinema. We spoke to the actress to find out more about her film Anamika.

The film which is based on the popular English classic Rebecca has Minissha play the role of the protagonist and being an English major we wonder how she found it playing the role of her best loved classic.

Your upcoming film Anamika… what is it all about?
The film Anamika is based on the classic Rebecca. And I play the protagonist. It’s basically an adaptation of the classic that is based in India and has the same story line of a girl who falls in love with a stranger and then finds out things about him. Continue reading ‘Minissha Lamba on Anamika’

Not many actors are willing to work with a filmmaker whose first directorial venture had proven to be a washout. However, Minissha Lamba, Rahul Bose, Javed Jaffrey and Kay Kay Menon didn’t even bat an eyelid before giving their consent to Samar Khan who had started his career with ill-fated Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye.

“Frankly speaking, I hadn’t even seen Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye before I met Samar. In fact I didn’t even know him either professionally or personally.
