What’s Minissha Lamba upto?

What’s Minissha Lamba upto?

She may be missing from the big screen for quite some time, but actress Minissha Lamba has plenty of other stuff on her plate, such as “watching movies and reading books”.

In the Capital to attend the launch of designer collection, Kyne, Lamba says, “My film, Well Done Abba, is complete and now I have a lot of time to spend with myself and explore other interests. In the future, I may even start my own website or a magazine, but we’ll have to wait and watch.”

Till a week back, the actress was distressed since she was being stalked. She says, “Though it has stopped now, I feel it’s not only celebrities who get stalked. It happens to women in general. I think it is high time that this stops in our country.”

Rubbishing reports of denying KJO’s Kurbaan because she was uncomfortable doing a kissing scene, Minissha says, “I could not do Kurbaan because my passport had expired and it could not be renewed in time. I will do any kind of roles if the script demands it.”

Quizzed about her relationship status, the actress quips, “I am single,” reasoning that relationships are a “hindrance” to her career.

Minissha’s Going Green

Minissha’s Going Green

“There are just a few days to go for the Copenhagen negotiations and the planet desperately needs a good deal on the climate change issue. We should dissuade the use of coal and promote renewable energy technology,” said the actress, who’s now part of the Greenpeace campaign. So, Minissha is going to send out letters so that the initiative gains momentum and will also emphasise the need for our Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh to attend the summit. “Wonders will not happen over night, we need to take steps towards making it a reality. We can do our bit at the micro level by saving up energy but it’s possible at the macro level only if the government takes an initiative,” said Minissha who feels responsible towards this cause.
